Warhorse Studios introduced one of the first crafting mechanisms-the '''Alchemy''' System. Contrary to popular belief, alchemy is not some kind of sorcery or black magic. It is rather a form of herbalism or something like today’s alternative medicine. People treated their wounds and ailments with special potions, but of course, they even believed in their magical powers. In order to stay as realistic and immersive as possible, developers from Warhorse studios took inspiration from real medieval recipes. The result is an Alchemy System based on real medieval herbalism. Players can gather various ingredients in the vast fields and forests on their journeys through 1403 Bohemia. One can prepare various potions, antidotes, and poisons. Players can try to experiment with different cooking approaches, grind herbs, choose the right liquid and cook it for the right time. In Kingdom Come: Deliverance one can master the art of alchemy and become a medieval herbalist.

Sharpening/Repair Your Weapons

Before you go into battle, or if you just need some resharpening, you're going to have to head to the grindstone. The Grindstone minigame has you sit down at a bench and sharpen/repair your weapons. Be careful, though: if you overdo it, you will damage and/or break your weapon.
