The extent of the KCD game world corresponds roughly to an area in south-eastern Bohemia around the Sasau River, in which many historical heritage sites are located. The most notable include Sasau Monastery and the castles in Bohemian Sternberg, Ratajs (Rattay) and Skalice (Skalitz – of which only a few stones can be found today).
